What's included?
The open jeep for one range, a licensed naturalist guide, park entry and safari permits, your allocated slot, and hotel pickup and drop within 10 km of the park.
Which range should I choose?
If it’s your first morning in Kaziranga, take Kohora: the main gate and the central grassland, with excellent rhino sightings and the widest variety of wildlife. Bagori is known for close rhino encounters and open sightlines that make a tiger crossing easier to spot. Agoratoli is for birders, with the wetlands around Sohola Beel. Burapahar is forest, hoolock gibbons and very little traffic on the track. In Manas, choose Bansbari for the most choice: a Standard Safari in the early morning, a Premium Half Day that has you back by lunch, or a Premium Full Day starting at a time you choose. Bhuyanpara keeps it simple, with one safari option at a single price per jeep.
Will I see a rhino? Will I see a tiger?
Rhinos: very likely. Kaziranga has the highest density of one-horned rhinos in the world, and sightings are excellent in Kohora, Bagori and Burapahar. Elephants, wild water buffalo, swamp deer and many birds are also commonly seen. Tigers: seen often, but never guaranteed. Kaziranga’s grass is tall, so a tiger can be close by and still stay hidden. Bagori’s open grassland and water bodies give the best chance of spotting one crossing the track. In Manas, the forest shelters rare wildlife such as the golden langur, the Bengal tiger and the Bengal florican. Every sighting depends on the day, so we never promise one.

When is my booking confirmed?
When you receive written confirmation from us — a confirmation email or invoice — after successful payment. Prices and availability shown on the site can change until that point.
Do I pay in full when I book?
Yes. Full payment is due at the time of booking unless we've specifically offered you a deposit option. All prices are in Indian Rupees.
How long is a safari, and what time does it run?
Safaris run in set morning and afternoon slots. Currently: morning 7:30–9:30 AM and afternoon 1:30–2:30 PM in every range. A safari lasts about 2-3 hours. Slot times can change with the season or the park's schedule, so the exact time for your date is shown on the booking page before you pay and confirmed with your booking.
What payment methods do you accept?
You pay online through our secure checkout, powered by Cashfree Payments, using UPI, debit or credit cards, or the other options shown at checkout. Full payment is due when you book, and all prices are in Indian Rupees. Travella never sees or stores your card or UPI details.
Are your prices inclusive of GST?
The price shown on the booking page is the total you pay. No taxes or charges are added on top at checkout, and your confirmation shows the amount paid.
What does a safari cost, and is that per person?

What's your cancellation policy?
Direct safari bookings use the cancellation-policy edition shown and accepted at checkout. More than 15 days: 90% refund; 11–15 days: 50% refund; 6–10 days: 25% refund; 3–5 days: 10% refund; 2 days or less: 0% refund. The exact accepted policy and stored safari start time are saved with the booking, so a later policy change does not rewrite an existing booking. Stay enquiries use separately agreed property-specific terms, and third-party bookings use the applicable platform policy.
What if the weather closes the park?
That falls under force majeure and we'll work with you in good faith. In practice we'll try to move you to another slot or another range first, then look at rescheduling or credit.
What's the nearest airport?
Guwahati (LGBI) is about 215 km from our Kohora base, roughly 5 hours by road, and has by far the most flights — it's the practical arrival point for most guests. Jorhat (Rowriah) is closer at around 95 km, about 2.5 hours. The nearest railheads are Furkating, about 75 km away, and Guwahati.
What should I bring, and do I need ID?
Layers — winter mornings in an open jeep are genuinely cold even when the afternoon turns warm. Neutral colours, closed shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent. Binoculars matter more than people expect, particularly in Agoratoli. Photo ID is checked at the gate for every guest: Indian nationals need a government photo ID, foreign nationals need their passport. Bring the original, not a copy.
What is the best time to visit Kaziranga?
November to April is the best time for a Kaziranga safari. Winter (November to February) brings the best wildlife viewing, as the grass is shorter and animals are easier to spot, while March and April are lush and great for photography.

Which Kaziranga range is best for seeing rhinos?
Bagori (Western Range) and Kohora (Central Range) are the two best ranges for rhinos. Bagori is often rated best for close sightings, thanks to its shorter grass and open floodplains, while Kohora, the main central range, is the easiest first choice. Rhinos are seen in every range, but no range can guarantee a sighting.
Do foreign nationals pay a different safari price?
Yes. Safaris have separate per-jeep rates for Indian and foreign nationals, both shown on each range page and in the booking form. Foreign guests need their passport at the park gate.

How many safari ranges are there in Manas?
Manas has two safari ranges: Bansbari and Bhuyanpara, both offering Standard Safaris. Bansbari additionally offers Premium Half-Day and Full-Day Safari experiences.
What safari options are there at Bansbari?
Standard Safari: a short morning safari, 7:00–10:00 AM (about 3–4 hours). Premium Half Day: a longer morning safari, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM (about 4–5 hours). Premium Full Day: a full day in the park (about 4–7 hours).
How much does the Bansbari Standard Safari cost?

Why do the Bansbari Premium prices go up with each guest, but the Bansbari Standard price doesn’t?
The Bansbari Premium options include a park entry fee for every guest, so the price grows with your group size. The Bansbari Standard Safari has no per-guest fee, so the jeep price stays the same for 1 to 5 guests.
How many people fit in one Bansbari jeep?
Up to 5 guests per jeep, for all three Bansbari options. For 6 or more guests you’ll need another jeep, priced separately.
Which Bansbari option should I choose?
Short on time, or travelling as a group of 4–5: the Bansbari Standard Safari is the best value, because the price stays the same however many of you there are. More time in the forest, but back by lunch: the Bansbari Premium Half Day. The deepest experience, with the day in the park and a start time of your choice: the Bansbari Premium Full Day.
